Fish oil can boost the immune system

New research published in the Journal of Leukocyte Biology suggests that instead of suppressing the bodys immune response, fish oil actually enhances the function of B cells

Fish oil rich in DHA and EPA is widely believed to help prevent disease by reducing inflammation, but until now, scientists were not entirely sure about its immune enhancing effects. A new report appearing in the April 2013 issue of the Journal of Leukocyte Biology, helps provide clarity on this by showing that DHA-rich fish oil enhances B cell activity, a white blood cell, challenging the notion that fish oil is only immunosuppressive. This discovery is important as it shows that fish oil does not necessarily reduce the overall immune response to lower inflammation, possibly opening the doors for the use of fish oil among those with compromised immune systems.

"Fish oil may have immune enhancing properties that could benefit immunocompromised individuals," said Jenifer Fenton, Ph.D., M.P.H., a researcher involved in the work from the Department of Food Science and Human Nutrition at Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan.

To make this discovery, researchers used two groups of mice. One group was fed a control diet, and the other was fed a diet supplemented with DHA-rich fish oil for five weeks. B cells were harvested from several tissues and then stimulated in culture. Researchers then looked for markers of B cell activation on the cell surface, B cell membrane changes, and B cell cytokine production. They found that DHA-enriched fish oil enhanced B cell activation and select antibody production, which may actually aid immune responses associated with pathogen clearance, while possibly dampening the totality of the inflammatory response.

"This work confirms similar findings on fish oil and B cells from our lab, and moves us one step closer to understanding the immune enhancing properties of EPA and DHA," said S. Raza Shaikh, Ph.D., a researcher also involved in the work from the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at East Carolina University.

Beware alcohol can damage the eyes and skin

Beware, alcohol can damage the eyes and skin - Alcohol is not only dangerous for your health but can also damage your skin and beauty. Alcohol makes the kidneys work harder all the time to remove toxins from the body. Not only that, alcohol also reduces the amount of vitamin A in the body.

Alcohol can accelerate the aging process by making skin dry. This is because alcohol makes the skin hydrated, while robbed of vitamin A in the body. Vitamin A is needed by the body to renew skin cells. When the body does not have enough vitamin A, skin becomes dry and wrinkled easily.

"The skin is dry and less susceptible to alcohol-induced fluid free radicals that cause many problems such as dark circles, dull skin, dark spots, rough skin texture, and wrinkles," says dermatologist Dr. Rickon Perreira of Mumbai, as reported by the Health Me Up.

Alcohol damage the skin beauty

Consuming too much alcohol can have a bad effect on the skin. If drinking alcohol is still being done, the adverse effects on the skin can become permanent. Alcohol can cause red skin, and easily irritated. In addition, alcohol can also affect the capillaries and blood vessels in the skin.

Addiction to alcohol can damage the capillaries and blood vessels. Causes the blood vessels in the skin and prominent red looks like webs spiders that look beautiful on the skin. Red vessels can also be seen in the eye, so many alcoholics who have red eyes and dry.

In addition, alcohol can also cause bloating and weight gain, and cause the appearance of cellulite. Alcohol makes you hard to get into a deep sleep and REM sleep stages, so it will cause your eyes have dark circles and puffiness. In other words, the alcohol will ruin your beauty.

Alcohol can cause blindness

In addition to affecting the health of skin and body, alcohol also has a very bad effect for eye health. In fact, addiction to alcohol can cause a loss of vision. Too much alcohol can suck all the nutrients out of the body necessary to maintain the health of organs, including the eyes.

Abnormalities caused by alcohol in the eye called alcoholic optic neuritis. This disorder causes damage to the eye that can eventually lead to blindness. Not only the eyes, the hair is also affected by alcohol. Because alcohol reduces the intake of zinc in the body, it causes the hair to become dry and easily damaged, such as branching and broken.

Experts also warn that women are more easily influenced adverse effects of alcohol. alcohol metabolism in women different from men. Process fast metabolism makes women process alcohol faster on their blood flow, so that women also feel the ill effects of alcohol more quickly than men.

After knowing the adverse effects of alcohol on the beauty and health of your eyes above, you should think twice before consuming the drink.

Botox injections can apparently control the heartbeat

Botox injections can apparently control the heartbeat - Hear the word Botox, which is on your mind must be beauty treatments and injections to make skin wrinkle free and youthful. However, recently researchers discovered other benefits of botox injections, which control the erratic heartbeat.

If Botox is injected in the fat around the heart, he will stop the nerve causes the heart rate abysmally. With this injection, the heart rate will return to normal and calm. This treatment is performed on patients who have atrial fibrillation, the heart rate abnormalities.

Atrial fibrillation occurs when the heart chambers to contract is not in harmony. Usually this is caused by an error on the part of the body triggers the heartbeat. This error signal is then sent to the heart tissue and causes it to contract at the wrong time. Such abnormalities increases as a person gets older.

In some cases patients with atrial fibrillation will experience fatigue, weakness, dizziness, and reduced ability to exercise. Other symptoms are loss of blood being pumped around the body. This can be caused by smoking or drinking alcohol.

Botox works by stopping the signals sent between nerve and muscle, as reported by the Daily Mail. When used for beauty treatments, Botox can freeze the muscles around the eyes, mouth, and forehead, thus making wrinkles more subtle and invisible.

This method has been tested on 60 patients who have heart surgery. Atrial fibrillation is one of the side effects of heart surgery, and the condition is likely to get even worse up to 50 percent.

CoQ10 Can Lower High Blood Pressure to Prevent Congestive Heart Failure

Reporting in the journal Biofactors, researchers found that patients with congestive heart failure that were supplemented with the active form of coenzyme Q10 (ubiquinol) improved ejection fraction by 39%. Ejection fraction is a critical marker of heart function used to determine the volume of blood pumped by the heart through the vascular system.

CoQ10 is essential to convert nutrients to energy and power the cellular engine, and natural production in the body declines with age. Extensive research explains how you can benefit from daily supplementation with this powerful co-enzyme to restore healthy energy balance and prevent age-related heart disease.

CoQ10 Improves Quality of Life for Heart Failure Patients
The study conducted at the East Texas Medical Center and Trinity Mother Francis Hospital focused on patients with advanced congestive heart failure that were classified as Stage IV, the most severe form of the disease. Patients were supplemented with 580 mg of the ubiquinol form of coenzyme Q10 daily to increase plasma blood levels by a factor of four.

The researchers found “the improvement in plasma CoQ10 levels is correlated with both clinical improvement and improvement in measurement of left ventricular function.” Prior to CoQ10 supplementation, most of the participants were considered critically ill and confined to bed or a wheel chair. After a regimen of ubiquinol, patients typically improved two classification levels (Stage IV to II or III to I) and were able to carry on a productive lifestyle.

CoQ10 Improves Blood Vessel Elasticity to Lower Blood Pressure
Hypertension is a serious problem that affects as many as one in three adults in the US today. High blood pressure is closely associated with coronary artery closure due to plaque formation and arterial stiffening as the normally elastic vessels require more pressure to fully circulate blood to the body. The result of a study published in the journal Nutrition and Metabolism found that coenzyme Q10 supplemented along with other potent antioxidant nutrients (vitamin C, vitamin E, and selenium) significantly increased small and large arterial elasticity that led to lower blood pressure and risk of a heart attack.

Subjects in this study received 60 mg of CoQ10 for a period of six months along with moderate amounts of the other nutrients. In addition to improved arterial elasticity, researchers found a significant decline in HbA1C blood sugar control and an increase in protective HDL cholesterol levels. The authors of the research concluded that the CoQ10 nutrient antioxidant cocktail “has beneficial effect on glucose and lipid metabolism, blood pressure and arterial compliance in patients with multiple cardiovascular risk factors.”

It comes as no surprise to most alternative health-minded individuals that nutrients obtained from natural sources exert a powerful influence on human health. Adults will want to supplement with 50 to 100 mg per day (higher amounts may be necessary for existing cardiovascular disease) of the ubiquinol form of co-enzyme Q10 to maintain optimal health, energy and protection from age-related diseases of the heart.

Can Our Politicians or the Market Improve on NICE

The Disease Management Care Blog continues to welcome blog posts from outside authors.  This one is courtesy of Erik Tollefson, who works in the health policy field.  He can be reached at erikDOTmDOTtollefsonATgmailDOTcom.

In the halcyon dog days of summer 2009, U.S. politicians aimed their rhetorical fire on a rather odd target: the UK’s National Health Service (NHS).  With a vote on President Obama’s proposed health orm on the horizon, politicians hoped to tar the orm effort by association: The NHS was painted as inefficient; a decried relic of “socialized medicine” and state planning; some damning charges were levied against NICE (The National Institute for Clinical Excellence) as the putative “death panel” rationing potential life-saving treatments to patients.

In a strange turn of events, recent developments in implementing the ACA, particularly the legislative appropriation of basic benefits, may show the limits of the US political system in making important decisions for patients in an economically efficient matter.

Two recent examples may raise red flags.  ACA’s “Basic Benefit” program, originally conceptualized as a way for the federal government to standardize benefit programs offered on health care exchanges, was devolved to the states in order to dispel concerns over excessive bureaucratic intervention in the process.

The result: massive lobbying by medical interest groups, including chiropractors and acupuncturists, to include their services in the benefit package without examination of medical evidence or economic value of their use. While these rent-seeking activities were seen as part and parcel of the political process, the Nebraska basic benefits proposal to offer a high-deductible plan did not pass muster.

One economic case for the ACA (albeit a limited one) was predicated on leveraging efficiencies in drug prescriptions for generic drugs, particularly biosimilars.  Recent reports indicate, however, that biotechnology companies are trying to put additional roadblocks in the process to prescribe biosimilars, perhaps preventing the anticipated competition and forecast savings.

Although these are only a few examples, they have rapidly emerged as both the federal and (some) state governments have started to implement ACA provisions.

Regardless of the political histrionics surrounding “socialized medicine”, the ACA is now (for better or worse) the law of the land. The issue of whether “rationing” exists in any health care system is a red herring; in a world of scarce resources, rationing is performed regardless of political ideology.

The real question is: how will rationing ultimately be conducted- out in the open as part of a rigorous deliberative process, or behind closed doors by legislative fiat?  In this sense, the US politicians’ attack on NICE was both prescient and half-correct:   the ACA would indeed give new power to legislators and bureaucrats to make decisions on the clinical and economic efficiency of medical treatments for patients, and NICE is the (sometimes unpopular) face of those rationing decisions.

At the end of the day, however, the implementation of the ACA raises seminal new questions about whether the business of politics can be separated from the dispassionate analysis needed to evaluate clinical treatments.  NICE is far from perfect: the institution has received withering criticism for tough decisions and a less than perfect methodology (e.g., the QALY).  One of the main challenges for US politicians, or the healthcare market, is whether they can come up with a better system.

If It Can Be Digitized Its Transport Can Be Commoditized Implications for Health Care Providers

Navy telemedicine, coming
to a clinic near you
The Disease Management Care Blog is not only a simultaneously superb and humble physician, its a needy and impatient patient.  In the course of recently seeing one of its doctors, it endured having to arrive early (waiting room), getting past the dreary check-in line (confirming my zip code again?), answering all the the nurses inane questions (no, I dont have pain), seeing the doc ("Yup! Everything is fine!") and getting out (with an after-visit summary). It was a time consuming hassle that ate up half of a day.

The time is ripe for some disruptive technology.

Enter this highly interesting video by futurist Edie Weiner, who illuminates the underestimated links between "digitization" and "commoditization." While Ms. Weiners point had more to do with the generalities of mainstream data processing, the DMCB thinks there are parallels in health care that have important downside implications for the industrys knowledge workers.

And the most vulnerable of those knowledge workers are the primary care physicians, because, thanks to digitizing of patient information, a lot of physician office visits will be going away.  Thats not only a lot of disruption, thats a lot of income.

The DMCB explains:

Recall that a "commodity" is any market good or service that is supplied without qualitative differentiation. Classic examples include wheat, copper and oil, which are bought and sold on the basis of upstream supply and downstream product demand (such as bread, computers and gasoline).

What does this have to do with health care?  While the physician DMCB is not saying that humans are the same as wheat, copper and oil, that doesnt mean that their symptoms and treatment cant be digitized.

Before you scoff, recall that the management of upper respiratory illness can be distilled down to a fairly simple algorithm. The same is arguably true for other myriad conditions such high blood pressure, diabetes mellitus and even heart attack.  "Inputs" including age, gender, concurrent conditions, disease severity, medications and other factors can be digitized.  This, in turn, can be informatically processed to create evidence-based treatment recommendations from afar.

Until now, the new paradigms associated with health care orm still rely on the assumption that patients with their colds, hypertension, diabetes and chest pains will continue to personally bring their medical problems to the doctors office.  Whats supposedly "new" is that advances like the teaming of a medical home, the decision support of an electronic record or the incentives of value-based insurance designs would make the office visit a more rewarding, efficient, effective and less costly affair. All well and good says the DMCB, but even with a new wrapper, its still destined to remain a dreary and time-consuming office visit.

Thanks to Edie Weiner, the DMCB suggests that that business model and all those caully laid policy assumptions could blow up.

Heres why.

Our clinic-based and see-the-doctor approach to care is being eclipsed by an approaching "perfect storm" made up of four key ingredients:

1. Highly organized electronic databases.  Not to be confused with electronic health records, this is the access of updated and easily accessible patient information, plus

2. Networked patient monitoring systems. This is periodic assessments of, for example, blood pressure, glucose levels and EKGs in persons with hypertension, diabetes and heart disease, plus

3. Artificial intelligence-backed decision support. While this may not be ready for prime time in the average doctors office or via a voice-activated smart phone, the recent broadcast of the game show Jeopardy featuring IBMs Watson showed us just whats possible, plus

4. A tipping point of consumer acceptance of informatics. The DMCBs spawn have applied their mobile devices to every part of their lives, why not their health care?

In a traditional care setting, patients assemble their concerns (the "data") and personally transport them to the doctor (the "processor"), who renders a treatment plan. Thanks to the four-fold perfect storm described above, the digitization of patient information will enable patients like the DMCB to avoid the high opportunity costs of a usual-care office vist.  The DMCB will be able to use the network. In effect, its the transport of the DMCBs information that will, in a round-about way, be "commoditized."

In some respects, its already begun. Because patient problems can be be digitized, packaged and transported just like all the worlds other data that are described by Edie Weiner, video physician visits, decision support-backed nurses and touch-screen kiosks are now processing the information and rendering treatment recommendations outside the office visit.

What will this mean?  Many diagnoses can be made remotely. Treatment plans can be adjusted without need for a face-to-face visit. Oversight can be provided by non-physicians.

In tomorrows post, the DMCB will review the implications and what it means for primary care physicians.

Vitamins and minerals can boost energy and enhance mood

Vitamin and mineral supplements can enhance mental energy and well-being not only for healthy adults but for those prone to anxiety and depression, according to a July 15 panel discussion at the 2013 Institute of Food Technologists (IFT) Annual Meeting & Food Expo® held at McCormick Place.

Bonnie Kaplan, Ph.D., professor in the faculty of medicine at the University of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, said Monday vitamins and mineral supplements can be the alternative to increasing psychiatric medicines for symptom relief of anxiety and depression. The supplements, she said, also can provide the mental energy necessary to manage stress, enhance mood and reduce fatigue.

In a series of studies she recently conducted in Canada, Kaplan found of the 97 adults with diagnosed mood disorders who kept a three-day food record, a higher intake of vitamins and minerals were significantly correlated with overall enhanced mental functioning.

Other vitamins that have been known to enhance mood, said C.J. Geiger, Ph.D., president of Geiger & Associates, LLC, and research associate professor in the division of nutrition at the University of Utah, include 5-Hydroxytryptophan (5 HTP), Vitamins B and D, as well as ginkgo biloba and Omega 3.

In her research, Geiger has found most adults define energy throughout the day as peaking mid-morning, falling to a valley in the afternoon after lunch and recovering with a pickup in late afternoon, settling back down before bedtime. However, these peaks and valleys did vary with gender, age and climate. She said many adults are known to use coffee, soft drinks, chocolate and candy bars as well as energy drinks, bars and chews with high sugar boosts to maintain energy throughout the day. She found other adults ate more frequent, smaller meals to sustain energy while making time for lots of rest and exercise.

Little Known Secret How Traffic Lights Can Help You Maintain Your Weight

No I dont want you to go and stare at a set of traffic light you will be relieved to hear.Let me explain, all too often when we are in the process of losing weight and keeping it off we unintentionally sabotage ourselves by getting caught up in a dieters mind-set.I have a technique for you to integrate into your weight loss efforts that I think will really help you.Lets say for arguments sake that you have lost X number of pounds and you now weigh 150lbs (insert your weight) and are considering taking a well-deserved break.

This is when dieters mind-set rears its ugly head and can very easily undo all your good work, but not if you know how to work with it instead of against it.The conversation inside your head normally goes as follows, "I have to stay at exactly 150lbs" not a pound more not a pound less"... sound familiar.

This mentality will absolutely guarantee that two things will happen next, the first is that you will be constantly miserable as you are giving yourself a task that will need superhuman effort to maintain.

The second thing to happen is that your weight will creep up a pound or two and you will start accusing yourself of being weak willed, a failure, or any of your other favourite put downs you use on yourself, all because your expectation exceeded reality.

What about a new way of thinking with the method I shall now explain.

We all know how traffic lights work dont we? Red amber green, you know the drill, so lets say as before your weight is 150lbs, well that would put you in the green zone and you can afford to put on a pound or so without any undue concern.

If you put on two pounds you are now in the amber zone and it is time to formulate a plan to lose that weight, if you put on three pounds then you are in the red zone and it is now time to put that plan into action and stick with it until you are back in the green zone, which should only take a week or two at most.

Such an easier way of looking at things dont you think?

No beating yourself up, no feeling like a failure, just you making a choice of thinking a new way instead of trying and failing to stick to a rigid all or nothing plan.

I use this plan myself and it has helped me first to take off 60lbs and then to maintain it, this plan allows me to have occasional treats and rewards because I know I have a three-pound window to play about with,.if you want to lose weight and keep it off permanently then youre thinking has to change from what you have done in the past.

One of Processing Food Can Trigger Cancer

One of Processing Food Can Trigger Cancer | About 90 percent of colon cancers are caused intake of foods containing carcinogenic substances. Cancer-causing substances arising from food processing wrong way.

According Adityawati Ganggaiswari, biomedical experts from Indonesia Cancer Foundation (ICF), the seminar "Improving the Quality of Life Ostomate" on Saturday (31/3), in Jakarta, the use of inorganic substances in foods as preservatives, colorings, flavorings and ingredients known to trigger cancer cell .

How to cook the wrong way can cause carcinogenic compounds in food. "For example, red meat that is burned too mature will lead to carcinogenic substances, heterocyclic amine compounds," said Adityawati. Fried potatoes with a high temperature will contain acrylamide can cause cancer.

Cancer can be triggered by the habit of eating foods high in fat and low in fiber. Similarly, smoking habits, less exercise, and sitting for long periods can lead to colon cancer.

Signs the appearance of polyps in the form of the cell malignancies that spread from the colon to the rectum.

Ostoma

The presence of cancer in the digestive tract is not easy to know at an early stage. Therefore, most patients present to physicians in an advanced stage.

This leads to colon cancer is the fourth ranked cause of cancer death. According to data from the ICF, 60 percent or more than 360,000 cases of colon cancer per year are found in developing countries, including Indonesia.

In the treatment of colon cancer, often had to do the cutting and making ostoma intestine (feces spending hole) in the abdomen. According to the Chairman of YKI Nila Moeloek, the number of people with ostoma increased.

YKI through the Indonesian Ostomy Association (InOA), which stood on March 23, 2000, should improve health care and assistance for people with bags of excrement ostoma free. In recent years, stalled because of Australias aid to help InOA should also help other developing countries.

Nila expect support from donors in the country to purchase medical equipment.

Currently, to prevent the manufacture ostoma, Benny said Philippi, surgeon of the ICF, a technique developed sphincter ani. With this surgical technique, polyps can be taken at a time near the anus anus which is a function of the nerve centers is maintained.

How, among others, performed the injection needle radiation in polyps. Thus, smaller polyps to disappear. (Yun)

Passive Smokers Children Can suffer Hypertension

Children who live with parental smokers at greater risk of suffering from hypertension or high blood pressure, although they are still small. In fact, hypertension in children can continue until they grow up.

Hypertension in children is a state of systolic blood pressure and / or diastolic average is at large equal to 95 percentile for age and sex, who performed at least three times of measurement.

Hypertension in children divided into two categories, namely primary hypertension when the cause of hypertension can not be explained. Hypertension is usually associated with hereditary factors, the input of salt, stress, and obesity. Meanwhile, secondary hypertension occurs as a result of other underlying diseases, such as kidney disease.

In recent research led by Dr Giacomo D Simonetti from Childrens Hospital University of Bern, Switzerland, stated that secondhand smoke is a risk factor of hypertension in children.

In his research, Simonetti and his team examined the data on 4236 boys and girls aged 5-6 years living in the southwestern part of Germany. Approximately 29 percent of the childrens father and 21 percent of their mothers were smokers. As many as 12 percent of children also have parents who smoke.

After accounting for other heart disease factors, such as birth weight, premature birth or parental hypertension, the researchers found that parental smoking is an independent factor on the incidence of hypertension in children.

The study also found children whose mothers smoke have worse effects on blood pressure than if exposed to cigarette smoke from his father.

Prevention of cardiovascular disease in adulthood can be started from the age of the children by avoiding risk factors, including avoiding exposure to cigarette smoke. The consequences may last long term.

Cataract Can Recurrence After Postoperative

Cataract Can Recurrence After Postoperative - Surgery is the only way to cure eye diseases cataract. But the next question is, whether after cataract surgery may recur again? The answer is yes!

"The possibility of recurrence remains small even between 5-10 percent," said Dr. Sanduk ruit, ophtalmology experts from Nepal in the event media briefing on Tuesday (1/10/2012), in Jakarta.

However, it is further ruit need not worry. Because the recurrence will not occur if the operation runs smoothly and perfectly. "Most of the relapses are those who are still young. Because there is still a possibility of developing tissue at her eyes," added the doctor who served as Medical Director at the Institute Tilganga, Nepal is.

In certain cases, further ruit, clear lenses that can turn into murky. Murky lens pouch is called a cataract who relapse or called as PCO (posterior capsular opacity). PCO may appear in several months or years after surgery.

The good news, for those who experience recurrence, it is not necessary to perform the operation again. Enough with the action of laser and the lens will come back clear.

"We just need to use a machine called a YAG (aluminum garnet yettrium). By making a small hole without surgery," he explained.

Ruit explained that there are three techniques commonly used to perform cataract eye surgery. The first is phcoemulsification techniques. This is the most modern techniques using a machine which can break the cataract using laser after it in the suction out. This technique results are quite good but the problem is that the machines are expensive and require a very large microscope. In some developed countries have been many who use these tools. While in Indonesia, only a few hospitals that have a certain tool.

The second technique is a Small Incision Cataract Surgery (SICS). This is one of the cataract surgical techniques commonly used in developing countries. This technique usually produce good visual results. The procedure does not require a large machine and a portable microscope that used the alias can be taken anywhere. Prices are very cheap lens that is one-fifth of the price phco lens.

While the latter technique is a different method with stitches. The technique is in addition to a long operating time, postoperative healing process also tends to last longer.

Men also Can Natural Eating Disorders This is Why

Eating disorders such as anorexia and bulimia are problems that often occur in women due to dietary errors. But new research shows that men can also suffer from an eating disorder, but the symptoms are not similar.Women who want the ideal body shape and the men who want a muscular body contains, choose a diet by limiting calorie intake. This can put the risk of eating disorders that adversely impact nourishment.Men need to ask themselves a few questions to find out if she had an eating disorder. This is necessary because most men do not realize a small change in their daily life that leads to health problems. Here are 5 list of questions you need to consider to ensure that you have been eating and exercising in a healthy zone, among others:

1. Do you have a specific physical symptoms?

If after a workout you feel weak, dizzy, and experiencing other serious signs, or after eating you feel panic, despair, and forcing yourself to vomit the food, it shows that you have an eating disorder.
2. Did you reduce your calorie intake drastically?
Eating disorders can occur if you are on a diet very low in fat or calories without the supervision of a nutritionist. You need calories to be able to move with energy, if the calories in the food you eat very little, your body and your health affected limp.To get a rough idea of the minimum amount of calories you need each day, multiply 25 calories for every pound you weigh. So, if you weigh 175 pounds, you need 1985 calories per day.

3. Are you too extreme exercise?

Sports are too hard to limit the calories you need to move. If this is done constantly, you tend to lose power and can not even maintain the immune system due to lack of nutrition.

4. Are you obsessed with thoughts about food or your body?

People who spend a lot of time just to think about food, weight, or muscles, may be one sign of an eating disorder. Men with eating disorders tend to wonder if the food is too many and a major effect on his body.

5. Do you have sex less qualified?

Men with eating disorders, more attention to the result of diet and exercise that have lived on body shape. When the body shape is considered not in accordance with what they want, men tend to be less confident in front of her partner.
